To date, DG has assisted Alliance Machine in obtaining over $320,000 in grants (over the course of five years) to offset the cost of on-site customized training, apprenticeship program implementation, and industry recognized certifications through a dual-training grant program. Training topics include, but aren’t limited to: business process analysis, math for machinists, basic inspection, pitch-based scheduling, dealing with change, facility optimization, HR organization & management, coaching and mentoring and customized online training through Tooling-U.

Decklan Group worked closely with Metro Mold and Design and a local technical college to obtain nearly $300,000 to execute onsite, customized training to employees located at both of their MN sites, located in Rogers and Brooklyn Park. Training topics included, but aren’t limited to: CNC technician training, leadership development, advanced blueprint reading and robotics & automation for medical/machining.
To date, DG has assisted UMA Precision machining in obtaining nearly $70,000 for on-site customized training and industry recognized certifications for their employees. Training topics include: leadership, 5S for manufacturing, value stream mapping. Employees will receive a variety of Solidworks Certifications and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Decklan Group partnered with Sportech and a local technical college to obtain over $640,000 for onsite, customized training for employees at both of Sportech’s locations in Elk River. Training provided includes: company culture training, HR management, EPICOR, thermoforming (plastics & resins), cross-training of employees and continuous improvement.
To date, DG as assisted M&M Machining in obtaining nearly $100,000 in funding to provide on-site customized training for their employees. Through a partnership with a local technical college, M&M employees have received training in the following: blueprint reading, basic inspection, process standardization, problem solving, conflict resolution, negotiation & behavioral strategy and advanced Kaizen.
