"Decklan Group has been fabulous to work with and a tremendous asset in the completion of our project. I don’t know if our project would have come to fruition if it had not been for the exhaustive effort of Annie and her staff. As Apex continues to grow we plan to utilize their services on future projects."
Brian Hill, Owner, Apex Embroidery & Design
"Starting my first business in downtown Saint Paul was daunting enough, but picking a business with capital requirements as high as a brewery in a historic building made it even more of a challenge. I wouldn’t be here without the loan Annie helped me secure, she was a great resource in general and brought amazing energy to the table that made me feel confident in the success of my project."
Elliot Grosse, Owner, 12welve Eyes Brewing
“I have found working with Decklan Group to be one of the best moves I could have made to ensure we would receive the funding necessary to move our project forward (TIF). Annie’s in-depth knowledge of tax increment financing is outstanding. However, the biggest value I found in Decklan Group’s services was their ability to explain the inner workings of TIF to city staff and council members to make sure we achieved our goal.”
Chuck Dougherty, Owner, Water Street Inn
“Decklan Group and Keith are an unbeatable pair. Keith is growing his company to a whole new level, while maintaining the company’s core values, and Decklan Group, with the same values and purpose, have made a big impact with the company’s relocation and expansion. This project is a great example of partnerships, collaborative efforts and determination. Becker welcomes MPI and looks forward to working with Decklan Group on future opportunities.”
Marie Pflipsen, Community Development Director, City of Becker
"We started working with Decklan Group when we were conceptualizing our new building. Not only were they able to work with the City and County to get us nearly $100,000 in tax abatement, they have also worked with the state to get us nearly $50,000 to train our employees. They also took the time to review some new marketing channels we had been neglecting and their suggestions have already yield results above our expectations. Both Annie and Tim’s knowledge of available programs, incentives and innovative marketing have helped our company grow efficiently and profitably. Their services are an exceptional value."
Tom McChesney, President, UMA Precision Machining
Decklan Group has proven themselves to be one of our company’s greatest assets. They leave no stone unturned and deliver a value that far exceeds their cost… We invested in their expertise and they have shown us a return in excess of 1000% on our money.
Bryan Provo, President, Alliance Machine
"We had the pleasure working with Decklan Group from the moment we decided we needed a new location for our building. Not only did they help us find a site, but they handled the land negotiation, city applications, wetland delineation and were able to identify three different incentive programs which provided us over $1.3 million in financing to help us get our project done. They’re involvement saved us many headaches, and allowed us to focus on what we do best; running our business. We highly recommend involving them from the get-go when you’re thinking about expanding or growing your business. Annie is the master of helping herd the cats. Getting government agencies to all step in one direction is an art."
Dan Bosshart, CEO, Preferred Powder Coating
"Hiring Decklan Group was a smart move; without them, there was no way this project would have moved forward. They were able to secure all the approvals we needed, in addition to obtaining tax incentives to ensure the success of our new location."
Bob Neitzke
